Valentine was born on February 14th, and both his name and his birthdate are carefully crafted deceptions. Clad in the Harpy Surplice — a mythological creature of predation and theft — he embodies the idea that everything that seems sweet hides something hungry. Greed the Life and Sweet Chocolate bear names that make you smile until the moment the opponent understands what they actually do.

His star of lamentation resonates in every battle he fights. Valentine does not seek frontal destruction — he seeks the void. When he is done, his opponent is still standing, but drained of his Cosmos, drained of his will, lamenting a defeat he did not see coming. That is the philosophy of the Harpy: to steal gently, silently, what is precious — until nothing remains.

Abilities & Techniques

Greed the Life
Valentine projects a cosmic claw that latches onto the opponent's life force and gradually drains his energy. The Harpy technique absorbs the opposing Cosmos to strengthen his own, creating a vicious cycle of weakening.
Sweet Chocolate
A cosmic manipulation technique that plunges the opponent into a sweet, paralyzing illusion. Deceptive in name, Sweet Chocolate is in reality a psychic attack that short-circuits the target's will to fight.
Cosmos Drain
The Harpy Surplice allows Valentine to passively absorb ambient Cosmos during battle. The longer the fight lasts, the more energy Valentine accumulates at his opponents' expense.

Evolution

01 —The Star of Lamentation — Valentine is governed by the star of lamentation — a designation that evokes the tears of the Underworld, the souls moaning in darkness. His cosmos carries this particular quality: drain, absorption, lament.
02 —The Harpy as Predator — The Harpy is a mythological creature associated with theft and predation — it steals, it seizes, it carries away. Valentine has integrated this philosophy into his fighting style: every technique takes something from the opponent before inflicting damage.
03 —Manipulation and Drain — Greed the Life and Sweet Chocolate form a formidable combination of offense and manipulation. One drains, the other paralyzes. Together, they exhaust the opponent of his physical resources and will before he understands what is happening.
