Sion is one of the most tragic characters in the Hades saga. A former Pope of the Sanctuary and Gold Saint of Aries, he devoted his life to Athena before being torn from that existence by death and brought back to the world of the living as a spectre of Hades. His golden Cloth, corrupted into a Surplice by the cosmos of the Underworld, is the perfect metaphor for what Sion has become: a perverted light, a loyalty turned against itself.
What makes him particularly dangerous among the spectres is that he retains all the techniques of a Gold Saint intact. Crystal Wall, Stardust Revolution, Starlight Extinction — these Gold-level attacks in service of the Underworld make him a threat of a different nature from the other spectres.
