The Minotaur of legend was imprisoned in a labyrinth designed to contain it — Gordon reverses this: he creates the labyrinth, and it is his opponent who becomes imprisoned within it.
Labyrinth Crash and Bull Charge form a formidable combination precisely because they operate on opposite registers. One disorganizes the opponent's perceptual space, creates confusion, reduces cosmic mobility. The other immediately exploits this disorganized space to strike with a charge that scrambled bearings make almost impossible to dodge correctly. Gordon does not chase his opponents across the battlefield — he closes in around them, progressively, until there is no more space to flee.
