The Lost Canvas Ep.11 — Now Out of Reach

Tenma manages to approach Alone — or rather what remains of him. He speaks to his friend, searching his eyes for a trace of the boy he knew, but Hades' soul has erected a wall that friendship alone cannot breach. Alone is now out of reach, and that reality is more painful for Tenma than any physical wound.

Meanwhile, Sasha — Athena's incarnation — is threatened directly. Her existence is Hades' primary objective: destroying her means definitive victory. The Specters tighten their grip around her, and her Saints must redouble their efforts to protect her.

This episode explores the series' central theme: what to do when what you love becomes what you must fight? Tenma does not yet have the answer, and it is this question that consumes him from within as the episodes progress.
