Seika is Seiya's elder sister, from whom he is separated when the two children are sent to different orphanages after their father's disappearance. This brutal separation is Seiya's founding trauma — finding Seika is his deepest goal, long before becoming a Knight of Athena or knowing about cosmos. She is the primary reason he fights, survives, and refuses to die.
Sent to Greece under circumstances never fully explained, Seika loses her memory following an accident. She wanders on the island of Pakis for years, amnesiac, unable to remember her past, her name, or her brother.

Evolution

02 —Amnesiac Wandering on Pakis — Seika lives on the island of Pakis without knowing who she is. The Eagle's Marin knows of her and watches from afar, but keeps the secret so that Seiya can focus on his training.
03 —Progressive Revelation — Seiya gradually learns that his sister may be alive and in Greece. This revelation obsesses him and strengthens his will to survive each battle.
