Odysseus is one of the Angel Knights of Olympus who appear in the Tenkai Hen film. Bearing the name of the legendary King of Ithaca, hero of Homer's Odyssey, he is one of the elite celestial warriors selected by Apollo to defend Paradise and impose Olympian dominion over Athena and her knights. His mythological name is no coincidence — just like the legendary Odysseus, he is as much a strategist as a fighter.
As an Angel Knight, Odysseus possesses a cosmos of divine essence, noticeably superior to that of human Gold Knights. His armor, forged in the luminous forges of Olympus, amplifies his celestial power and protects him from ordinary earthly attacks. His loyalty to Apollo is absolute — an unquestioning devotion that makes him a formidable and predictable adversary in his determination.
His battle against the Bronze Knights during the assault on Paradise is an opportunity to measure the power gap between human cosmos and divine cosmos. Paradoxically, it is this same humanity — will, sacrifice, love — that will ultimately triumph over Olympian perfection.
Abilities & Techniques
Celestial Cosmos
His cosmos is of divine essence, conferring a power noticeably superior to human Gold Knights. His attacks pierce ordinary defenses and only adversaries who have reached the 7th Sense can resist him.
Angel Armor
Unlike the Cloths forged by Athena, Odysseus's angelic armor is a pure creation of Olympus, imbued with Apollo's light. It amplifies its wearer's divine cosmos.
Absolute Divine Loyalty
His devotion to Apollo is total and suffers no questioning. This unconditional loyalty makes him formidable and reliable, but also limited in his capacity to understand the rebellion of Athena's knights.
Evolution
01 —Selection Into the Olympian Elite — Odysseus is chosen for his exceptional power and loyalty to join the ranks of the Angel Knights, the elite celestial warriors placed directly under Apollo's banner.
02 —Deployment During Tenkai Hen — With his angelic companions, he is sent to defend Paradise and neutralize the Bronze Knights who dare challenge the Olympian order by opposing Apollo.
03 —Battle Against Athena's Knights — His confrontations illustrate the power disparity between celestial and human cosmos. Each battle forces the Bronze heroes to transcend their limits to hope to rival a divine warrior.
