Ikarus, whose real name is Tôma, is an Angelic Knight from Japan who was raised and trained on Olympus to become one of the celestial warriors of the Tenkai Hen. A young teenager of only 13 years old, he embodies the new generation of divine fighters — those who grew up under the wings of the Olympian gods and whose power transcends that of ordinary mortals. Bearing the name of Icarus, the mythical Cretan prince who dared to fly toward the sun, he is both a promise and a foreboding.

His tragic fate in the Tenkai Hen is the perfect reflection of the myth he embodies. Tôma/Ikarus finds himself caught between conflicting loyalties, truths that Olympus has hidden from him, and the raw reality of Athena's knights who fight for ideals the gods have forgotten. His trajectory is that of a young man who discovers that angelic power does not protect against the most human of pains — and that the most beautiful wings can burn when you get too close to certain truths.
