Shun of Andromeda

🔶 Bronze Knight — Andromeda

Among all the Bronze Knights, Shun is the easiest — and most dangerously — underestimated. His graceful appearance, soft voice and instinctive refusal of violence suggest a fragility that his opponents pay dearly to discover. For Shun is not weak: he deliberately chooses not to crush what could be crushed. Behind every sequence of his cosmic chains hides colossal restraint, that of a warrior whose Cosmos could devastate an entire temple but who prefers to master rather than destroy.

Trained on Andromeda Island by master Daidalos, he learned his art in almost monastic isolation. The island is a place of trials where candidates face not only opponents, but their own nature. Shun returned from it with chains that are less weapons than extensions of his will — flexible when he wants to envelop, lethal when he has no choice left. His fighting style is unique among the Bronze Knights: he waits, absorbs, channels — and strikes when the space for mercy has closed.

The heaviest burden Shun carries is not visible to the naked eye. His body was designated by cosmic law as the vessel for Hades, the god of the Underworld. This predestination makes him a target and a stake beyond his own will. But Shun does not submit to it: he resists, from within, with the same silent stubbornness that has always defined him. His brother Ikki always surges to protect him — and in this exchange of mutual sacrifices resides one of the most beautiful brotherly stories in the series.

Abilities & Techniques

Living cosmic chains
The chains of Andromeda are not mere weapons — they are an extension of his Cosmos, capable of adapting to any situation: trapping, blocking, striking or strangling. They obey Shun's will like a living organism.
Absolute defense
Shun does not attack first — he absorbs, redirects, envelops. His Rolling Defense is one of the most versatile protections of all Bronze Knights, capable of withstanding attacks of a higher rank.
Nebula Storm — the last resort
When Shun truly unleashes all his chains, the result is cataclysmic. Nebula Storm is a tornado of pure Cosmos that sweeps everything in its radius — proof that behind the gentleness sleeps a power that few of his opponents have survived to witness.
Vessel of Hades
Shun's fate is marked by a cosmic tragedy: his body was chosen as the vessel for the soul of Hades himself. This existential fragility is the flip side of an extraordinary sensitivity — he perceives emotions and Cosmos with an acuity that no one around him possesses.

Evolution

01 —Andromeda Island — Shun was supposed to join Phoenix Island with his brother Ikki — but at the last moment, the two brothers exchanged their fates. On Andromeda Island, under the tutelage of master Daidalos, Shun learned to transform his gentleness into a tool of survival. Where others develop brutality, he cultivated precision and restraint.
02 —Brotherhood as anchor — The relationship between Shun and Ikki is one of the most complex in the saga. Ikki returned from the Island of Death transformed into a demon — but it is always for his little brother that he surges in impossible moments. Shun, for his part, never stopped believing in him, even when no one else did.
03 —The Twelve Houses arc — In the temples of the Sanctuary, Shun reveals a depth of Cosmos his companions had not suspected. Every victory costs him more than the others — because he refuses to kill. This ethical constraint transforms each of his battles into an exercise in balance between compassion and necessity.
04 —Hades' possession — Learning that his body was predestined to house the god of the Underworld is the cruelest blow fate could deal him. Shun resists from within, refusing to be erased — and this silent struggle, invisible from the outside, is perhaps his most heroic battle.
