Seiya is the main hero of Saint Seiya and the Bronze Knight of Pegasus. An orphan taken from Japan in childhood, he is sent to Pakis Island in Greece to train under the tutelage of Eagle Marin. His initial goal is simple and deeply human: to find his sister Seika, who disappeared when they were separated.
An impulsive fighter but one of absolute loyalty, Seiya embodies something rare in the Saint Seiya universe — a hero who fights not for glory or power, but for others. It is this inner flame, this Cosmos fueled by love and the will to protect, that allows him to surpass opponents who are objectively more powerful.
His relationship with his four companions — Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun and Ikki — is the beating heart of the series. Together, they will forge a brotherhood capable of crossing the Sanctuary, the seas of Poseidon, the plains of Asgard and the depths of Hades. Each battle forges Seiya's Cosmos a little more, until it elevates him to the level of the gods themselves.
Abilities & Techniques
Ryūsei Ken
His signature technique unleashes dozens of blows at the speed of light. The more Seiya burns his Cosmos, the more the meteors multiply and devastate his opponents.
7th Sense
Seiya is one of the rare Bronze Knights to reach the 7th Sense — the speed of light — during the assault on the Sanctuary. This mastery places him at the level of the Gold Knights.
Indestructible will
His strength is not only physical. Even wounded, crushed or dying, Seiya gets back up. It is his fierce will to protect his friends that multiplies his Cosmos in every battle.
Pegasus Cloth — God Cloth
His armor evolves throughout the series: Bronze, borrowed Gold Cloth, God Cloth in the final battle against Hades — the ultimate manifestation of his divine power.
