For Seiya flew toward the glory of great cosmic battles, while Jabu remained in the antechamber of the epic — strong enough to wear the armor of a mythical constellation, not central enough to the story to change its course. This asymmetry is not a tragedy, but it gives Jabu a particularly endearing psychological texture.
Trained in Oran, Algeria, Jabu developed a fighting style based on combination and cadence. His signature technique deploys a series of fast, chained strikes evoking the hooves of a galloping unicorn — a barrage of blows whose increasing cadence exceeds the blocking capacity of an opponent trying to intercept each individually.

When Seiya left for Greece to train, Jabu continued his own path toward the Unicorn Armor — and the competition never stopped.
02 —Training in Oran — The Algerian city and its surroundings, with the Mediterranean heat and varied terrain between sea and mountains, forged in Jabu an adaptive fighter. Algeria is not a place of extremes like Siberia or Kilimanjaro, but it forges daily resilience, a baseline endurance.
