Hades Chapter Elysion

Synopsis

The Elysian Fields — Elysion — is the paradise of heroes and deities in Greek mythology. In Saint Seiya, this is where Hades resides in his true divine form, protected by his ultimate guardians.

The Bronze Saints arrive at Elysion exhausted from previous battles, but driven by a will that nothing can extinguish. They face Thanatos and Hypnos — the twin gods whose cosmos transcends that of every Saint they have encountered.

It is in Elysion that Pegasus Seiya fulfills his ultimate destiny: to face Hades himself, the god of the Underworld in his full divine power, for the survival of Athena and humanity. The conclusion of a 25-year epic.

Guardians of Elysion

💀
Thanatos — God of Death

Twin brother of Hypnos and guardian of Elysion. His cosmos surpasses that of all Gold Saints — facing Thanatos requires awakening beyond the 8th Sense.

😴
Hypnos — God of Sleep

The other divine guardian of Elysion. His power plunges opponents into a cosmic sleep from which they never awaken. His cosmos is of a nature unlike anything the Saints have faced.

🌑
Hades — Ruler of the Underworld

In his true divine form — no longer incarnated in Shun — Hades reveals a power that transcends human comprehension. He is the one Seiya must face in the final battle of the saga.
