Soul of Gold Ep.6 — At the Entrance of Yggdrasil's 7 Chambers!

The echo of the Sanctuary saga is intentional: like the 12 Houses of the Zodiac, Yggdrasil is structured as seven sacred chambers, each guarded by one of Andreas's God Warriors. The Gold Saints launch into this ascent with the same determination that Seiya and his companions put into climbing the Sanctuary steps — but this time, they are the assailants.

The comparison ends there, however. Yggdrasil's chambers are not simple doors to pass through: they are alive, imbued with the energy of the World Tree. Each hall tests the Gold Saint who enters it in a different way — some play on raw power, others on illusions, others still on paradoxes linked to their past.

The episode ends on the threshold of the first chamber — the stage is set, the progression will be long, and each victory will have a cost. The Gold Saints advance together, but each knows that the path leading to the heart of Yggdrasil will be as intimate as it is violent.
