Soul of Gold Ep.1 — The Golden Legend Rises!

It all begins with an impossibility. The Gold Saints are dead — they accepted it, burning their Cosmos to the last spark to shatter the Wall of Lamentations and open the road to Elysion for Seiya. Their sacrifice was final. And yet, the episode opens on an awakening.

Leo Aiolia is the first to regain consciousness, in an environment he doesn't immediately recognize: Asgard, the Nordic kingdom, far from the Greek Sanctuary. He is not alone — other Gold Saints gradually emerge from this intermediate state between life and death. The exact nature of this resurrection is deliberately left unexplained in this opening episode: something, or someone, called them back.

The tone is set from the first scene: Soul of Gold is not a lighthearted sequel. It's a series that raises questions about what it means to return to life when you had made peace with death, and what you still owe the gods after giving everything. Aiolia, in the foreground, already carries in his gaze the tension between gratitude and wariness.
