Hades Sanctuary Ep.12 — Athena's Armor

The episode begins with Sion finally revealing the truth to the Bronze Knights: if the dark Gold Saints agreed to make a deal with Hades to bring back the goddess's head, it was actually a ruse to go and retrieve Athena's divine armor. By returning to the Sanctuary under the pretext of wanting Athena's life, the renegades in fact only wanted a little of her blood to revive her armor. Their deception was therefore to fool the enemy.

Sion throws the goddess's blood toward the great statue of Athena, which shrinks and becomes completely golden. Athena and Shaka's deaths are not in vain: once in the realm of the dead, Athena and her knights can fight Hades, but to have a chance she needs her armor. Sion also repairs the Bronze Saints' armor with Athena's remaining blood.

Meanwhile, Saga, Camus and Shura feel great pain and their strength fades as the first rays of sunlight signal the end of the life they were granted. At Hades' castle, Mu, Milo and Aiolia are blocked by Rhadamanthys who inflicts heavy damage on them. He even manages to throw Aiolia into the Cocytus — saved at the last moment by Shun's chains, signaling the arrival of the Bronze Saints.
