Ghosts of the Past
Volume 02 · Étienne Tellouck
The temporal rift widens. The Bronze Saints are hurled into fragments of the past — key moments of the Holy War they have already experienced, but this time altered. Decisions made are different, allies die where they had survived, and victories become defeats. Navigating these broken timelines requires the Saints to trust their memory as much as their fists.
Ikki, accustomed to solitude and confrontation with his own demons, is particularly highlighted. The fragments of the past he traverses directly touch his own choices — his sacrifice, his death and resurrection, the beings he has lost. This volume transforms a character often defined by brute force into a haunted being, confronted with what he could have done differently.
