The Time Rift

An unknown temporal rift opens above the Sanctuary. Events that should have remained in the past resurface in the present, and altered versions of already-fought battles collide with current reality. Seiya and Athena's Saints find themselves facing ghostly versions of defeated enemies, intact and more dangerous than ever.

This first volume sets the stage for the adventure: an odyssey that travels not through space but through time. The atmosphere is more melancholic than in the original series — each enemy returned from the past is also a painful memory, a battle the Saints believed definitively closed. Time Odyssey builds its identity on the idea that the scars of the past never truly heal.
