The Gemini Sacrifice

Aspros's betrayal is examined in all its complexity: why does a Gold Knight who appears to serve Hades act this way? The Gaiden reveals that his seemingly treacherous acts are in reality a desperate plan to protect Defteros — convinced that if the secrets of the Gemini House were exposed, his brother would be executed.

Defteros, unaware of his brother's maneuvers, advances in the dark with his own convictions. The tragedy of this arc lies in the irony: the two brothers always act for each other, but in opposite directions, without ever truly understanding one another. The love that should have united them drives them further apart with every decision.
