Cardinale of Libra

The Libra House is unique in the Zodiac: it does not produce a combat Gold Knight, but a guardian of the Sacred Weapons — the twelve legendary armaments that only a Gold Knight can wield. Cardinale is that guardian: his role is not to fight on the front lines but to preserve and pass on these weapons at the crucial moment.

His arc explores the philosophy of this often-misunderstood role: being the invisible support, the living memory of the armaments that changed the course of holy wars. Cardinale is in contact with young Dohko — a meeting that bridges the generations. His relationship with violence is radically different from that of the other Gold Knights.
