Bian is Poseidon's General charged with guarding the North Pacific pillar. Clad in the scale of the Hippocampus — the half-horse, half-fish creature of ancient mythologies — he reigns over the frozen waters of the Far North with an authority that only the sea itself could contest.

Born in Canada, Bian grew up in contact with the cold and turbulent waters of the Pacific, developing from childhood a particular sensitivity to the ocean's moods. Chosen by Poseidon for his exceptional aptitudes and unbreakable will, he swore to devote his life to the protection of his pillar.

During the great confrontation between Poseidon's forces and the Bronze Saints, Bian stands as an implacable bulwark. His Hippocampus Horn technique concentrates the fury of the depths into a devastating shockwave, while his sense of marine currents allows him to anticipate enemy assaults.
