Alone is a sensitive and gifted young painter, Tenma's childhood friend and Sasha's brother. His pure soul and connection to beauty make him the ideal vessel for Hades's incarnation in the 18th century.

Progressively consumed by Hades's consciousness taking over his body, Alone struggles to preserve his identity while painting the Lost Canvas — a cosmic tapestry threatening to engulf the world of the living.

His tragedy lies in his absolute innocence: being the cause of the world's destruction not through malice, but because an ancient god chose his body and his talent to fulfil a vision of universal death.

The Lost Canvas

His painting becomes Hades's cosmic weapon, capable of absorbing and destroying entire universes.

Pure Soul

The purity of Alone's soul sometimes allows him to partially resist Hades's domination.

Control of the Dead

As Hades's vessel, he commands the army of 108 Specters and the souls of the deceased.

Last Fragment

Deep within remains a fragment of Alone that has not yet surrendered — the thread Tenma desperately tries to reach.

Evolution

01 —Innocent Painter — A dreamy child artist, painting the beauty of the world with exceptional talent and a luminous soul.

02 —Progressive Possession — Hades gradually takes hold of his being, transforming his painting into the Lost Canvas, a tapestry of universal destruction.

03 —Hades Incarnate — Alone almost entirely disappears behind Hades's overwhelming presence, becoming the great enemy of the Saints.

04 —Last Spark — Even at the deepest point of darkness, a fragment of Alone persists — enough that Tenma never gives up.
