Parallel to the Sanctuary

The timeline of Saintia Shō converges with the Sanctuary saga. While Seiya and his friends begin crossing the Twelve Houses to save Saori condemned to death by the fake Pope, the Saintia live their own version of this crisis: they are Athena's bodyguards, those who remain at her side when everything collapses.

This volume reveals what happens on the Saintia side during the main saga — a perspective entirely absent from the original manga. We see Saori in her vulnerability, surrounded not by the Bronze Saints who fight for her but by the Saintia who physically protect her. This intimacy between the goddess and her guards gives new depth to an arc the reader believed they already knew.
