The End of the Holy War

The destruction of the Lost Canvas frees all the captive souls and breaks the Specter army. Hades, deprived of his vessel and his canvas, is banished back to his own kingdom for a century. The war is over. But the price paid is staggering: almost all the Gold Knights of the 18th century are dead, and with them an entire generation of heroes.

Tenma, sole survivor of the battles, kneels before the last painting Alone left behind — not the Lost Canvas of death, but a canvas of light depicting the three of them as children in Venice. Sasha speaks a few words for the fallen. Sisyphus plants Athena's banner in the ruins.
