Sisyphus and the Sacred Arrow

Sisyphus of Aries finally reaches the heart of the Underworld and stands before Alone — or rather before Hades who inhabits his body. The sacred arrow, charged with the cosmos of all the Knights fallen in battle, is ready to be fired. But to strike Alone is perhaps to kill the man Tenma is trying to save.

Pandora chooses not to intervene — a silent act of rebellion against her divine master. Sisyphus' arrow strikes Hades with devastating power, but the god is immortal. The result is not Hades' death but a temporary weakening — and the revelation that the key to victory lies in the Lost Canvas itself.
