Aspros of Gemini

The Gemini arc is revealed in all its complexity: Aspros, the elder of the Gemini twins, had betrayed the Sanctuary out of ambition before the war — his villainy is now in service of Hades. But behind this betrayal lies a more nuanced truth: Aspros sought to protect his brother Defteros from the curse of the Evil Gemini.

Defteros, the cursed twin raised in darkness as a secret weapon, finally understands the twisted and destructive love of his brother. Their reconciliation on the threshold of death — two beings who never had the chance to simply be brothers — constitutes one of the most tragic and best-crafted arcs in the entire manga.
