Awakening of the Wyvern

Shôichirô Tokitô is an ordinary high school student at Graad boarding school, passionate about the piano, who grows up alongside his twin brother Sôjirô and their childhood friend Cattleya Mikagami, for whom he harbors secret feelings. During a school trip at sea, a sudden attack sinks the school ship; trying to save the classmate he loves, Yoruhime Tsukishima, Shôichirô sinks into the depths himself — and wakes up in the realm of the dead.

There he discovers the most unexpected truth: he has become the Wyvern, one of the Three Judges of the Underworld in service to Hades. His brother Sôjirô, meanwhile, dons the Gold Cloth of Gemini in service to the Sanctuary, while Cattleya turns out to be the reincarnation of Athena herself. This first volume lays the groundwork for an unprecedented Holy War, seen not from the Sanctuary's side but from the Underworld's.
