The Saintia of Athena

Shoko is an ordinary high school girl whose life is upended when her older sister Kyoko — the Swan Saintia, Athena's personal bodyguard — is possessed by Eris, goddess of Discord. To save Kyoko, Shoko has only one path: to become a Saintia herself and join the divine guard of Saori Kido, Athena's reincarnation.

The first volume lays the foundations of the Saintia universe — these warriors whose existence the original series barely acknowledged. Unlike the Bronze Saints who choose their path, Shoko is propelled into this world by love for her sister. This fraternal motivation, more intimate than the grand cosmic causes of the Saints, gives Saintia Shō a particularly emotional tone.
