The Eve of Seiya

The epilogue of Episode G — Assassin is a love letter to twenty years of storytelling. The Sanctuary, after two series of crises, finds a balance different from before — more aware of its flaws, more lucid about its own contradictions, but intact in what matters. The Gold Saints resume their watches, their training, their lives.

Aiolia, in the final pages, observes young Saori Kido — the future Athena, the one for whom Aioros sacrificed everything. He now fully understands what his brother had seen in her, why that sacrifice was worth everything. Episode G — Assassin closes on Aiolia's gaze: a warrior forged by two series of battles, who sees in this child the reason for everything he has been through. The baton is ready for Seiya.
