Synopsis

Saint Seiya Episode G is a spin-off manga published in Weekly Champion RED between 2002 and 2013, drawn by Megumu Okada based on the original universe created by Masami Kurumada. The series takes place before the events of the original series, placing Gold Saint Aiolia of Leo at the center of the action.

A force forgotten since the dawn of time resurfaces: the Titans — the primordial Giants imprisoned in Tartarus by Zeus during the Titanomachy — are mysteriously freed. These beings, older than the Olympian gods themselves, possess a Cosmos of a magnitude surpassing anything the Gold Saints have ever faced.

As battles unfold, Episode G also becomes an exploration of the Gold Saints' identity — their doubts, their fractured loyalties, and the shadow of the false Pope looming over the Sanctuary. The gradual revelation of the truth about Sagittarius Aioros is the central dramatic thread of the series.

The Arcs

Kronos Arc

Kronos — the supreme Titan, father of the Olympian gods, master of Time — unleashes a temporal war that threatens to rewrite reality. The Gold Saints unite against this unprecedented adversary.

Final Arc

The ultimate battle against Kronos pushes Aiolia to the threshold of the Seventh Sense. The cooperation of the Gold Saints embodies what makes humanity superior to primordial powers.

Epilogue

In the shadow of victory over the Titans, Saga tightens his grip on the Sanctuary. Episode G closes on the threshold of the original series.
